It’s down to two options...
The Acadia is a 2013 SLT1 FWD with 30k miles.
The JX35 is AWD with 56k w/ nav.
They are the exact same price.
So which way would you go?

Infiniti because VQ.

Where do you live? If Arizona, not awd. If the northeast, awd.

I just can’t make myself like the JX.

It will be in MS, but road trip to the Northeast, Chicago and MI throughout the year. FWD could be justified, AWD is nice, and RWD is out.

So you’re not “the baddest man aliiiive....”?

Tough decision, since I suspect the GMC still has more warranty remaining for that price, but I’d bet the Infiniti will be a better deal overall.
That said, I think the Acadias are pretty good cars as GM goes. I once went on a road trip in one for about 4k miles (I drove about 2k of these) and I can’t think of any things I found particularly bad about it.
Good options...

Evidently not.

Wow Acadias are expensive there. Would be less than 20k US in Canada with similar miles.

You can find cheaper models. This is fair market for an SLT. SLE would take it down a ton as well.

SLTs would be right around 26K Canadian, so 20-21ish US. But salt and potholes more frequent in the Great White North.

Infiniti because not Acadia. I’d say the styling’s improved a little but I still can’t stand those wheelarches.

No offense, I despise both. Disregarding that, the JX is a very solid buy.

That’s fine. They’re not for me, haha.

Driven both. They both are ehhhh. I guess the Infiniti is better but butt ugly.

Lambda platform CUVs are crap. Motor mounts, A/C parts, solenoids, the 3.6L is a joke. They’re only marginally better than the trailblazer/envoy/ascended/etc. they replaced.
The JX35 isn’t bad, but Nissans (same car as the Pathfinder) tend to go through transmissions and catalytic converters more than other brands, so be cautious.
My $ would go for a Volvo XC90, Ford Flex/Lincoln MKT, Explorer, or Mazda CX-9. Pilots/MDXs aren’t terrible either, but I’m underwhelmed by the design.

Acadia’s are front wheel drive? when I worked for a car rental agency I drove a handful of chevy traverse’s and acadias and assumed they were all RWD.

Acadias chew through transmissions early, so I’ve heard. I would go for AWD if you get snow.

I don’t have much experience with the Infiniti. But man those GMCs really are not pleasant to drive. Loud and unrefined engines. terrible fuel economy. terrible infotainment system. Not that nice to look at.
I’d say the Infiniti is miles ahead on style, interior, and quality.
